Development promotion of supporting industries in Hanoi – Vietnam and the port of Kawasaki - Japan

(N & G Corp)According to the business agenda in Japan, the Chairman of HANSIBA / CEO of N & G Corp had a meeting with the leadership of Kawasaki Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Japan (KCCI) in Kawasaki on 02/07/2014.

In the morning of July 02nd, at the headquarters of KCCI, Ekimae-Honcho boulevard, Kawasaki, the business delegation of HANSIBA / N & G Corp Vietnam had a meeting with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of one of the largest port cities in Japan. Welcoming the Chairman of Hanoi Supporting Industries Business Association (SI) cum CEO of N & G Corp – Mr. Nguyen Hoang were Mr. Yukihiro Koizumi - Executive Chairman, Mr. Shinichi Iwai - Secretary General and some senior officials of KCCI.

 

After the common Oriental courtesy greetings, Mr. Yukihiro Koizumi expressed his pleasure to meet the Chairman of HANSIBA cum CEO of N & G Corp. again, and notified of the working direction of KCCI in the time to come, which focused on economic exchanges between Kawasaki and Southeast Asian countries, particularly those in the Mekong Delta.

 

Then, the leader of HANSIBA / N & G Corp. presented an overview of the economic development of Vietnam in general and of Hanoi in particular in the first 6 months of 2014, the pace of economic growth, as well as the recent situation of the East Sea – a deep concern of millions of Vietnamese people, members of HANSIBA, officers and employees of N & G Corp., showing vehement opposition for the territorial infringement of the sacred Vietnamese sovereignty. After expressing the patriotism, the desire that international community, as well as Japanese organizations and business community in general and KCCI in particular continue to support Vietnam by practical cooperation, the chairman of HANSIBA stated clearly the strategy and the economic development orientation of Vietnamese Government, especially the focus on the development of supporting industries and the mission of colaborating and attracting investment from Japan by Vietnamese business community.

   

To further clarify the need to cooperate with KCCI, the Chairman of HANSIBA introduced specific working orientation, membership number and business size and lines, the difficulties in finding the consuming market for products, the need for cooperation of HANSIBA members which are mostly from small and medium enterprises in Hanoi, the cooperation with Japanese partners to invest and develop infrastructure in Hanoi in order to attract enterprises to participate in production and business in HANSSIP Industrial Park.

 

Listening to opinions raised in the meeting of the leader of HANSIBA / N & G Corp., KCCI stated many contents in need of discussion and clarification by the chairman of HANSIBA in terms of development orientation of supporting industries of Vietnamese Government as well as policies to attract investors from other countries to HANSSIP project, mechanisms, specific preferential policies for small and medium business group of Kawasaki which have needs and pay attention to the development potential in Vietnam when they invest in HANSSIP in Hanoi.

   

After receiving quite a lot of information to be clarified in terms of the policy for development of supporting industries in Vietnam as well as proposals for practical cooperation in HANSSIP project from the Chairman of HANSIBA cum CEO of N & G Corp., Mr. Yukihiro Koizumi-Executive Chairman of KCCI stated that Kawasaki organizations and businesses had not grasped much economic information and strategy for industrial development and attraction of foreign investment in Vietnam. Therefore, there had been not many Kawasaki enterprises intending to invest in Vietnam. KCCI were willing and had aspiration of collaboration for organizing seminars to promote investment cooperation as suggested by Mr. Nguyen Hoang and HANSIBA Association, and proposed that HANSIBA kept regular contact with KCCI, through which learning more about businesses in Kawasaki and coordinated stakeholders to plan on time and content for the next investment promotion meeting which KCCI agreed to participate in and would support to organize a successful conference as expected.

 

It is unlikely to mention all the contents of the meeting between the chairman of HANSIBA / N & G Corp. and the leadership of KCCI within the scope of this article. In general, Hanoi Supporting Industries Business Association and the staff of N & G Corp with the leader - "the rider" of HANSIBA – have been continuing to take effort to promote the cooperation and development of supporting industry between Hanoi and Kawasaki in the Land of the Rising Sun, despite all the hardships, the night flights through the geographical distance between Hanoi - Tokyo - Osaka - Kawasaki – Hanoi. The distance seems to become closer when Hanoi capital as well as the whole country has been increasingly developed, prosperous and consistent with the will, the heart of Entrepreneurs – the "peace soldiers”.

 

Kawasaki City is located in central Japan, between Tokyo and Yokohama, covering an area of ​​144.4 km2, with a population of about 1.4 million people. Kawasaki is renowned for ecological urban with fresh and clean environment on the shore of Tokyo Bay. Kawasaki has an extremely favorable urban traffic network. Kawasaki is famous for Kawasaki port, which plays an important role in trading with other countries all over the world. Thanks to such favorable geographic location, Kawasaki has become one of the most typical scientific research and development urbans of Japan.
