Director of Home Affairs Tran Huy Sang said, the election of MPs and delegates XIV Peoples Councils at all levels for the period 2016-2021 in the city took place a safe, regulated by law, the election day is the festival of the entire population. In particular, people with the highest percentage of votes was Mr. Nguyen Duc Chung, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and  Chairman of the Ha Noi City, reaching 95.18% of the vote; people with the lowest number of votes is Trinh Xuan Quang, Chairman of the Board, Director of HANDIC  JSC , reaching 53.76% of the vote.
