On 15/8/2018, a meeting was held between leaders of Dak Nong Province and N&G Group leaders under the witness of VCCI. N&G Group expressed a desire to invest in development of renewable energy (wind energy, solar energy) and supporting industrial park specialized in bauxite and aluminum in Dak Nong.

 At the meeting, Central Party Commissioner, Provincial Party secretary, Chairman of Dak Nong People's Council Mr. Le Dien said that Dak Nong in particular and the Central Highlands provinces had stabilized on the political situation and economic was on the verge of developing. The OSS mechanism was initially applied from the province to the district in order to shorten the processing time for investment procedures. With the advantages of climate and minerals, Dak Nong is striving to become a safe and competitive destination for enterprises. Dak Nong province is focusing on three key sectors: tourism, mining and supporting industries. It will focus on improving infrastructure and provides priority policies to assist enterprises in seeking investment opportunities at the same time.

Dr. Vu Tien Loc, Chairman of VCCI, said that Dak Nong had strengths in mining. This is a great potential for enterprises to invest in building industrial clusters in order to exploit efficiently and effectively. In addition, President of the Central Council of the Vietnam Business Associations, Dr. Vu Tien Loc said that Dak Nong should focus on strengthening the role and responsibility of provincial business associations, especially the role of enterprises leading the association.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hoang, Chairman of N&G Group, Chairman of Hanoi Supporting Industries Business Association sent a letter to Secretary of Dak Nong Party Committee. In which mentioned N&G Group want to invest in wind power, solar power, supporting industrial park specialized in bauxite and aluminum in Dak Nong. Based on the results of N&G Group’s survey and based on the report of foreign experts, Dak Nong is one of the areas with high volumn and stable wind in VietNam. It is suitable for the development of wind power and solar power, meeting the demand for energy security and brings revenue to the state budget. Therefore, N&G Group would like to survey, invest in developing smart wind farms and solar power in Dak Nong province.

On the other hand, N&G Group also found the potential for Dak Nong province to develop supporting industries specialized in bauxite and aluminum as well as high-tech agriculture in the areas implement wind power and solar power.

Through this letter, N&G Group proposed People’s Committee of Dak Nong Province to approve the policy for enterprises conducting survey and implementation of investment procedures in renewable energy (wind energy, solar energy) and supporting industrial park specialized in bauxite and aluminum in Dak Nong.
