“During the official trip of PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc to visit Denmark and attend the Green Growth and the Global Goals (P4G) Summit, on October 20th 2018, N&G Group (Vietnam) and Vestas (Denmark) signed an MOU to develop renewable energy project (wind power) with the witnesses of PMs and officials from Denmark and Vietnam in Copenhagen”.

After a discussion and understanding, on October 20^th, 2018 in Copenhagen, under the witness of the Prime Ministers of Denmark – Vietnam, N&G Group and Vestas signed an MOU to implement wind power projects in Vietnam, besides the wind projects that N&G Group have been doing in the central and southern provinces of Vietnam.

During his conversation with Mr. Nguyen Hoang (Chairman of N&G Group) about EU business in general and Denish business in particular, Chairman of Vestas surprised and valued the fast development, wide in scale of Vietnamese private sectors, especially with the support and transparent “playground” from Vietnamese government, and from Vietnamese PM who has created a “creative, integrity and for businesses” environment recently.

Before that, at the bilateral discusstion with Denmar’s Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc thanked his counterpart for the warm welcome of Vietnamese delegation. PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc reaffirmed that Vietnam always treasure the friendship and overall coopeartion with Denmark – an important partner of Vietnam in Nordic and EU. Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen said that Denmark highly value the socio-economic achievement of Vietnam, and the commitment of Vietnam in sustainable development, world climate change response. Denmark believes that the official visit to Denmark of PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc will strongly boost the ties between Denmark and Vietnam, and Denmark will continue to be a companion of Vietnam in the future.
