The development of Vietnam’s aviation industry should focus on supporting industry enterprises, ecosystem building, high-quality human resource training, attracting technology transfer, and strategic cooperation with major global corporations (Airbus, Boeing, Embraer) to connect a sustainable aviation supply chain and enhance Vietnam’s position in the global value chain.

For more than a decade, Vietnam’s industrial development has been entering a strong transformational phase amid deep international integration. The mindset of industrial development is shifting from primarily assembly to mastering technologies, components, and core parts that form the backbone of an autonomous economy.

In recent days, the construction atmosphere at HANSSIP has become increasingly vibrant. The ODV items have continuously recorded new progress, marking a strong acceleration phase in completing the ecosystem of the Hanssip Hanoi South Industrial–Urban Area (Phase 1).

Accessing Japan’s cutting-edge technologies, utilizing preferential financial resources from the Japanese Government for Japanese enterprises, and fostering high-tech cooperation in manufacturing and supporting industries (SI) are the key advantages of the Techno Park Industrial Complex in Hanoi.

On the morning of October 17, the visit and survey program of the Vietnam – Japan Techno Park Industrial Complex took place at the Hanoi Southern Supporting Industrial Park (HANSSIP). The event was attended by former President Truong Tan Sang, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung, leaders of central and local government agencies, and the Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam.

Throughout the year, Vietnam has to endure numerous severe storms, the most recent being Storm No. 10, named BuaLoi, which caused significant damage to both people’s daily life and economic activities. In Hanoi city, after just a few hours of heavy rain, many streets experienced severe flooding, leading to paralyzed traffic and disruptions in the transportation of goods. This situation has heightened concerns among businesses, as infrastructure in many areas still falls short of meeting flood prevention requirements.
