On June 17, 2025, N&G Group had the honor of welcoming Mr. MATSUMOTO Izumi – Deputy Ambassador of Japan to Vietnam, and Mr. NISHIGORI Naofumi – Counsellor, on an official visit and working session with Mr. Nguyễn Hoàng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of N&G Group. The visit reflects Japan’s special interest in supporting industries and high-tech infrastructure development in Vietnam.

The working session focused on promoting cooperation between Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises in the field of supporting industries, with a key objective of guiding investment and development of a chain of specialized industrial parks for supporting industries and high-tech sectors across the North, Central, and South regions of Vietnam, invested in and operated by N&G Group. Particularly, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions about the Techno Park Complex model – a modern industrial park structure that integrates technical infrastructure, logistics services, R&D facilities, and a network of satellite enterprises, serving core manufacturing industries such as precision engineering, electronics, automation, new materials, and digital technology.

Japan has long been recognized for its well-developed supporting industries, thanks to the contributions of thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises specializing in high-precision and highly reliable components, parts, materials, and technical services. Supporting industries are a foundational element that has helped Japan become a global industrial hub, fostering a sustainable development ecosystem where large and small enterprises closely collaborate within the value chain.

With its strong industrial growth, abundant workforce, and government policies encouraging the development of supporting industries, Vietnam is becoming an attractive destination for Japanese industrial corporations seeking to diversify supply chains and pursue medium- to long-term investments.

In this context, the Japanese side highly values N&G Group’s role as a strategic partner with the capability to develop specialized supporting industrial zones and a commitment to long-term, well-structured investment – aiming to grow in alignment with international partners.

This meeting underscored the determination of both sides to jointly build an advanced ecosystem for supporting industries in Vietnam. Looking forward, both parties expect to promote specific collaborative initiatives, such as: Attracting Japanese enterprises to invest in specialized supporting industrial zones developed by N&G Group; Developing R&D centers, technical training facilities, and logistics hubs for supply chains; Organizing business networking forums, technical seminars, and trade promotion events.
The working session not only opened up practical cooperation opportunities but also contributed to building a sustainable relationship between the Vietnamese and Japanese business communities – based on the spirit of shared development and mutual prosperity.
